The vocabulary, defined once.
The same words the product prints on its screens, in the same senses.
- observation
- The register's record of a committed plan's evaluation against a mandate clause.
- exceeded
- The state of an observation whose committed plan sits past the clause's limit.
- unevaluable
- A committed plan a clause could not be evaluated against; recorded as such rather than guessed.
- unencoded
- A mandate clause proposed but not yet encoded; named on the clause list and, once the mandate is active, on every stamp's monitoring line.
- attestation
- One record per active clause per trader per day: measured within, exceeded, or declared unmeasured. A clause that could not be measured is listed as not a pass.
- settlement pass
- The daily pass that writes the attestations.
- committed plan
- A plan the trader has committed in conversation with DJ. Committed plans, with their evaluations, are what cross to the firm plane.
- draft
- A plan not yet committed. A coaching record on the trader plane; it never reaches the register.
- brief
- A note to the desk the trader authors, or sends from DJ's draft unedited. Sending it is the trader's act.
- plane (trader, firm)
- The two structurally separated halves of the system. The trader plane carries the dialogue; the firm plane carries plans, evaluations, observations, and the record.
- register
- The Observations screen: exceeded observations grouped by trader and clause, repeat offenders first, with the worst multiple per group.
- ledger
- The append-only acknowledgement record, listed in Audit.
- acknowledge
- The officer's act of taking observations onto the record: an append-only entry with name and time. Not deletion.
- unreviewed by you
- The officer's own watermark: what has landed since this officer last looked. Distinct from open, which is the firm's state.
- open flag
- An exceeded observation with no acknowledgement. One definition on every screen; the register, the Desk sheet, and Analytics read the same number.
- forecast (plan horizon, execution horizon)
- The probability that a trader's next committed plan produces an exceeded observation. The plan horizon is live and scores against the next committed plan; the execution horizon calibrates on the execution feed and is roadmap.
- calibration
- Forecast against realised rate over settled plans, shown per trader so a reader sees whether the number overclaims.
- tiers withheld
- The board's refusal to tier traders below five scored traders, or to show a figure below three prior plans. Printed in the header.
- mandate clause
- One encoded limit from the firm's mandate document. Its limit and denominator must be textually grounded, or it arrives as not expressible.
- multiplier
- The verified contract multiplier used to denominate futures plans. A plan that cannot be denominated is refused.
- audit stamp
- The box on every printed PDF: as-of time, generating officer, scope (desk, name filter, status), and the monitoring line naming unmonitored clauses.
